Elkmtb conducts two separate quality controls prior to shipping to our customers. We stand behind our products with the following warranty:
1. Elkmtb warrants its products to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of 5 years after original date of purchase. This warranty only applies to the original owner and is not transferable. Valid proof of purchase, pictures of the defect and the product serial number is required for a warranty claim. Please retain your proof of purchase for any future warranty claims as this will be a requirement.
2. If any manufacturing defect occurs within 45 days, elkmtb is obligated to replace the product and also pay for the shipping cost. If any manufacturing defect occurs between 45 days to 60 months from purchase date, elkmtb is obligated to replace the products, and the customer will be responsible for the shipping cost. This shipping cost will be reimbursed only after investigation affirms manufacturing fault.
Manufacturing Warranty does not cover:
1. Normal wear and tear;
2. Any damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, or any other fractious reasons;
3. Improper assembly, maintenance, or maintenance by an unauthorised technician.
We understand that accidents and damage can happen. In case of such events, elkmtb supports you as the customer by offering an exchange of the broken product with a new one at a 50% discount (The receipt of original purchase must also be given for the replacement to be valid). This is valid for the entire life of the product (Only applicable for the original owner). The customer will be responsible for the shipping costs.
elkmtb will do their best to work through all issues and claims with our customers. Claims will be decided at the discretion of elkmtb.
All claims will require the customer to send products to elkmtb at the customers cost initially. Elkmtb will need to go through it’s investigative process and analysis before affirming compensation including reimbursement.
If you have a change of heart after your purchase contact us and we will work through it with you. Please take your time and be sure about your purchase because as a general rule we won’t do replacement for change of heart.
